If you've been waiting for a better price on Saros, now's a good time to take another look. Housemarque's latest PS5 exclusive is back down to just $49.99 at Amazon, bringing it $20 below its usual $69.99 price.

This remains the lowest price we've seen for the physical PS5 release, making it a particularly tempting pickup if Saros has been sitting on your wishlist. The deal has appeared before, but as with any Amazon discount, there's no guarantee it'll stick around for long.

Lowest Price Ever

Saros - PS5

Released earlier this year, Saros is the latest game from the studio behind Returnal, and it brings plenty of the developer's trademark bullet-hell action to PS5.

IGN's Michael Higham praised it as a "test of skill that's as much a rhythmic dance as it is a fireworks show with a punch-packing sci-fi arsenal," adding that Housemarque's "bullet-hell sensibilities mesh incredibly well with fluid and super-challenging action."

With the death of physical media also drawing closer, and Sony set to cease production of physical game discs for new PlayStation releases starting in January 2028, it can make deals like this on physical PS5 games that little bit more appealing.

The company doesn't appear to be backing away from that decision, either, with stickers reportedly now appearing on PS5 boxes warning buyers about the impending end of physical games.

If you're someone who prefers actually owning a game on a disc rather than relying on a digital license, $50 for Saros is a solid opportunity to add another game to your collection while physical releases are still readily available.

There's no telling how long this deal will stick around for, but if its caught your eye, it's well worth grabbing now rather than waiting. Especially since we're in a bit of a quieter period between sale events, it may be a while before we see this deal pop up again.

You could wait it out until Black Friday in November, where I'd be pretty confident Saros will see an additional discount. But if you've been hankering to check it out, this is the best deal going, at least for now. It could be a good one to play while we all eagerly wait for Wolverine in September, and GTA 6 in November!
