Aston Martin is already synonymous with one of the most famous action movie franchises of all time, but soon its name may also become associated with one of the biggest video game brands. The British automaker has teamed up with Infinity Ward and Activision to create the Dreadnought, a badass SUV that will live exclusively within the world of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, a game that releases this October.

The aggressively styled two-door SUV is designed for maximum off-road capability while still providing the luxurious experience expected of a vehicle wearing the winged Aston Martin badge. Technical details are thin—this is a video game car, after all—but Aston Martin says that the Dreadnought is motivated by a V-12 engine and all-wheel drive. The automaker boasts of "supercar levels of performance," as well as robust armor and "adaptive combat zone intelligence systems."

The angry-looking bodywork is fashioned from carbon fiber and is characterized by crisp lines and sharp angles. Up front, the headlights, which consist of three LED strips arranged like a staircase, are tucked into the bodywork, while the rectangular grille houses a pair of square LED spotlights. Below that is another grille opening, a pair of tow hooks, and a silver skid plate.

The huge, durable-looking wheels are wrapped in knobby tires and sit underneath trapezoidal wheel arches, and the wide track gives the Dreadnought a commanding stance. The cabin looks relatively small considering the vehicle's size, and two LED strips perch atop the roof to provide extra illumination.

The rear is almost crazier than the front, with a pronounced ducktail spoiler and slatted louvres in place of a rear windshield. The taillights, made up of eight LED dashes, are reminiscent of past special-edition Aston Martins like the Vulcan, Valiant, and Valour. Two tow hooks protrude above massive quad-exit exhaust pipes, and there's virtually no rear bumper, with the tires fully exposed to create an excellent departure angle.

Inside, the cabin has a tactical feel while still retaining a sense of luxury. The dashboard, seats, and steering wheel are wrapped in a military green leather, while the Aston Martin badge, stitching, trim pieces, and gear lever are all finished in a metallic gold hue. Behind the octagonal steering wheel are a pair of circular dials, while several screens are situated within a thin rectangular bezel that stretches across the dashboard.

As cool as the Dreadnought is, Aston Martin has no plans for the SUV beyond the game. The Dreadnought will remain digital only, save for a full-size model that will be displayed at Fanatics Fest in New York. In the game, players will be able to find the vehicle at key points of interest on the map in both the DMZ and Call of Duty: Warzone modes. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be released globally on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23.
