From paying $15 million for a license plate to having the balls to drive a $2.5 million Pagani through standing water, Dubai is the epitome of excess. And it's not just the uber-rich residents that like to flaunt their crazy cars, though. Even the Dubai Police has a fleet of luxury automobiles that'd leave some of the wealthiest in the region feeling a bit poor. Unlike the Fords and Chevys you'd find as patrol vehicles stateside, law enforcement in Dubai takes a different approach — we're talking Ferraris and Lamborghinis here.
It's reasonable to wonder why a police fleet would require a Bugatti Veyron or an Aston Martin One 77. The reality, however, has as much to do with law enforcement as it does with public relations, according to The Times of India. Not only does a flotilla of supercars portray Dubai as modern and prosperous, but it also elevates the city's image on the global stage while establishing a sense of authority (and perhaps intimidation), given how the region is known for its love of crazy-fast cars.
If you weren't aware, law enforcement is pretty strict in Dubai — it's among the safest cities in the world. While Dubai penalizes heavily for reckless driving, DUI, and other traffic violations (from fines and court hearings to impounds and racking up black points), it's worth noting that many of these supercars are hardly ever used for patrolling or high-speed pursuits. In fact, they're more of a marketing tool, often parked in some of the city's posh areas, including the Palm Jumeirah, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Mall, and so on. Business Insider once quoted the Dubai Police chief saying these high-end cars are there to "act classy with the people."
The fleet keeps growing

Most automotive publications have extensively covered Dubai Police's supercar fleet. While we know of the Veyron, Porsche 918 Spyder, Lamborghini Aventador, and Ferrari FF, there are other niche cars within the "collection," so to speak. For example, there's a Brabus G63 and a 900-horsepower Lotus Eletre R wearing the Dubai Police livery. That, however, is not the only Lotus in the fleet — an Emeya S joined the lineup not too long ago. Apparently, a Tesla Cybertruck is in there as well, with other noteworthy mentions like the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, Mercedes-Benz EQS 580, and Mercedes-AMG SL 55.
While it's impressive to have these cars in any collection, let alone a police fleet, it's crazy to think they went one step further and added a one-of-one widebody Mansory Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Sure, Mansory's designs may not be to everyone's taste, but the Dubai Police certainly has a thing for the brand, having not one, not two, but four Mansory cars in their lineup. In addition to a Mansory Mercedes G63, a rather wild-looking Mansory Ferrari Purosangue (or the Pugnator) also calls the Dubai Police fleet its home. The latest addition, however, is a Mansory Lamborghini Revuelto, which, to be fair, looks pretty cool in the white and green police livery. According to Dupont Registry, Mansory has a few more surprise builds for the Dubai Police that should surface sometime in the future. As they say, the show must go on.
