Editorial Policy
Our editorial goal is reproducible, factual reference data — nothing more. Numbers should be right and citations should be traceable to the source corpus.
Accuracy Controls
Reproducibility
All counts are derived programmatically from the same canonical corpus. Re-running the pipeline should produce identical results.
No paraphrase
We do not summarize plot, interpret themes, or editorialize about what a play “means.” This site answers measurable questions only.
Source citation
Every numerical claim is traceable to a scene/act/character in the underlying text. See Methodology.
Corrections
If you spot an error, please contact us. We correct verified factual errors within one business week and note the date of the correction on the page.
Frequently Asked

How do you decide which characters to feature?
